Our Father, who art in Heaven,
I ask of you today,
To give guidance to my Dad
While he toils along the way. 

Help him through his work-day
As he strives to make ends meet.
Make it easier for him, Father,
To put shoes upon my feet.

I pray that you watch over him;
Keep him healthy every day,
Because he works so very hard
He can't afford to miss a pay.

I know that you are busy
Helping others all day long,
But my Dad is very special
And to forget him would be wrong.

If you could do just one more thing
For me and him today.
Give my Dad what he deserves,
Make his prayers come true.
